We have pleasure in announcing that Bridge House has been awarded the prestigious Visit Britain 4 Star Rating with Silver Award. This followed major refurbishments to transform our home into a first class Bed & Breakfast venue - fit for Royalty. Indeed we try to treat all guests at Bridge House as Royalty. |
The NEW Bridge House Bed and Breakfast is situated on London Road just half a mile from Newark Town Centre. London Road is the main artery into Newark from the A1 and is one of the most desirable locations in Newark due to the quality and style of the houses, and the pleasant tree lined views. Bridge House is an ideal location for exploring or doing business in the Trent Valley area and the centres of Newark, Lincoln, Southwell and Nottingham. You will find Bridge House at 4 London Road, New Balderton, on the right just after the bridge, coming from Newark Town Centre, opposite the prestigious Highfield’s Private school.

We specialise in making our guests feel at home in our spacious and superbly fitted home. To maximise our guest’s comfort the whole of Bridge House is a smoke free zone. It is also our aim to provide a quiet and tranquil stay and to help achieve this we do not accommodate any pre teenage children. We say ‘quiet’, that is apart from the madcap humour of your hosts!

Lynn loves cooking and offers a choice of superb breakfasts with local produce. We can also cater for those with special dietary needs by prior arrangement. Breakfast is served between 08.00 & 09.00 each morning, but we can present a full cooked breakfast any time from 05.00 by prior arrangement.
Whether you are seeking great places to visit, activities to stretch your imagination, sights to delight your eyes, tastes to excite your taste-buds, international centres for antiques – Or just a quiet relaxing break, Bridge House is for you!

We are open all year round except for the Christmas period. Daily arrivals are from 16.00 with guests vacating the house by 10.00 each morning. However, we always try to accommodate any special requests for different arrival and departure times – Please arrange these at the time of booking.
